Handvas is an alternate way to display prints and posters in a more creative way. It was inspired by a trend designers do to showcase their work, which is simply by holding it up in front of them. My goal was to create a piece of modern design that showcased artwork in the same way a designer would.
Over a year I worked in collaboration with Vert Design, a boutique design house based in Redfern, Sydney. Together we brought this product to life using high quality 3D-printing.
Since its release Handvas has been featured on top blog and design sites like Design Milk, TrendHunter, Core77, Thrillist, Hiconsumption and Fancy. It was a worldwide trending topic on Twitter, and has been published in Etihad Airways inflight magazine.
Handvas has also been invited to feature in pre-party showcases for the Grammys, Golden Globes, Sundance, Emmy Awards and Academy Awards.
